So many things change as hormone level increase and decrease
rapidly during pregnency. Many women who've never had ache problems will
while pregnant or maybe the opposite and their face will
clear up.
Skin Care
Stretch marks may appear on breast, stomach, and legs.
Sometime lotions with vitamin E in it will help, but nature
just has to take its course. Stretch marks are discolored
and ugly, but laser surgery can help make them disappear
after the baby is born.
Hair Care
Most salons don't like to give pregnant women chemical
treatments unless a waiver is signed. With prenatal vitamins
hair will surely grow as will nails. Beware of treatments
for many things can be harmful to an unborn baby. Nothing is
100% safe anymore.
Diet
Does this mean diet while pregnent? NO!
Just eat wisely for it is harder to lose those pounds
afterwards and a unborn child needs many vitamins and
protein to grow big and strong. Eat healthy.
It is always best to eat 4-5 small meals a day. Does it mean
take out junk food? No. Just watch your intake. Five small
meals may seem too little for a pregnant women, don't
starve, just make wise choices when eating. There are snacks
and foods that are filling without all the grease and fat to
go along with it. Here are a few:
• Fruits • Raw (well washed) veggies • Nuts • Whole grain cereals • Fruit smoothies • Chicken noodle or bean soup
Everyone knows these things already
during
pregnency so why can't everyone
eat healthy? Too many options for a greasy, tasty snack or
meal. We're all guilty and need to control urges to spurge.
Its the best thing for a growing child to be introduced to
these things even before entering the world. Who knows maybe
this will help them eat healthy. |
